Education Programs
Elementary
- All classes are Special Class 12:1:1, as regulated by the State Education Department. This means each class can have up to 12 students, 1 teacher, and 1 assistant.
- Teachers have specialized expertise in working with students with significant hearing loss.
- Instruction and communication is delivered in a multi-modal classroom environment. This means that both visual communication (ex: American Sign Language) and oral communication (ex: spoken English) are used depending on the primary modes of communication for the students in each class.
- Program-driven supports provided by related service providers to all classes in the areas of communication, hearing loss, social emotional learning, sensory, and motor development
Middle School
